Why was Phantom Blade Zero delayed?
S-GAME moved the game from September 9 to October 29, 2026. Creative director Soulframe Liang called it a 50-day delay and said the team would use the time for clearly defined improvements rather than a broad redesign.
The first-party letter names upgraded character models, reworked environments and additional effort to preserve the visual impact on systems that are not using ray tracing. It does not describe a platform cancellation, story rewrite or switch to a different engine.
